Civil society organizations

IARD is an independent non-governmental and non-profit organization that was first registered as a CBO in 2004, which later transformed to a professional development entity registered and incorporated by guarantee with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Sierra Leone. The aim is to promote community-led rural development. The main activities include: agriculture and food security; environment, forestry and climate change; social and economic services; and rural infrastructure development.
