Fosters sustainable development as the objective of international trade policymaking and_x000D_ participatory decision-making in the design of trade policy. Promotes the interest and activities_x000D_ of the non-governmental community in trade and sustainable development. Endeavours to make_x000D_ international policymakers and trade officials aware of the involvement of non-governmental organization (NGO) community in trade, development and the environment. Leads the trade and_x000D_ development symposium, an informal consortium of international organizations, research_x000D_ institutes and NGOs active around major trade and development events. Cooperates with_x000D_ international agencies through collaborative reporting, active dissemination of outputs and_x000D_ reporting on their activities. Publishes the Bridges series of publications (weekly and monthly)_x000D_ which provide analysis on the interface between trade and sustainable development for the actors_x000D_ involved in the global trade debate.
