Civil society organizations

IITC has participated for 2 decades in various sessions and COPs of the UNFCCC and CBD, addressing impacts of Climate Change and biodiversity loss on the rights, lands, waters, food and knowledge systems and ways of life of Indigenous Peoples. The issues addressed by the UNCCD are interconnected and cross cutting with those processes and we look forward to addressing these vital interrelated concerns at UNCCD.
