Promotes the conservation and protection of forest and mountain ecosystems in Togo._x000D_ Encourages participative management and security of the forests in southwest Togo as well as of_x000D_ public and private forests. Promotes valorization of local practices whose objective is the_x000D_ sustainable management of the forests. Carries out training on sustainable agricultural practices._x000D_ Promotes sustainable use of fields. Sensitizes the public on the problems of desertification and its_x000D_ implications for living conditions. Educates pupils about environmental issues. Offers expertise_x000D_ for the public at large on the conservation of biodiversity. Prepares studies and analysis on the_x000D_ negative consequences of environmental degradation for vulnerable groups such as young people_x000D_ and women. Manages an international workshop for reforestation which includes training_x000D_ courses for developing and managing tree nurseries.
