Constituted as a network of representatives from environmental organizations, forestry groups,_x000D_ academic communities and individuals in North-east Asian countries. Restores degraded forestlands to combat desertification and deforestation. Promotes sustainable management of_x000D_ forest ecosystems in the North-east Asian region by strengthening the networks among concerned countries. Develops environmental education programmes and exchange of_x000D_ information for forest management and conservation. Organizes tree planting and sand fixation activities in the region.
