Civil society organizations

The organization is constituted as a network of representatives from environmental organizations, forestry groups, academic communities and individuals in Asia-Pacific countries. It restores degraded forestlands to combat desertification and deforestation. It promotes sustainable management of forest ecosystems in the Asia-Pacific region by strengthening networks among concerned countries. It develops environmental education programmes and exchanges information for forest management and conservation. It organizes tree planting and sand fixation activities in the region.
