Rede Cerrado
Description
Founded post-Rio-92, Rede Cerrado is an interethnic platform dedicated to defending the biome and the collective rights of its peoples, such as Indigenous and Quilombola communities. Representing 22 traditional segments, it connects local realities to global advocacy. Aligned with the UNCCD, it promotes water security and territorial governance to combat degradation and deforestation through sustainable systems and the defense of land rights.
