The Research Center for Environmental Planning (RCEP) works to combat land degradation, deforestation, and biodiversity loss in the Congo Basin. We implement community-led restoration, sustainable land management, and GIS-based monitoring, focusing on degraded lands from artisanal mining to enhance ecosystem services and livelihoods.
