With a team of over 500 scientists working in over 100 countries, Kew has a breadth and depth of expertise related to desertification and land degradation. This includes research to support local farmers to adapt their practices to the impacts of climate change, collecting and researching the seeds of vulnerable plant species, and identifying priority areas for conservation and/or restoration.
