At Sakhi, which means "a female friend," gender equity isn't just a component of our work—it's the very foundation of our mission. Established in 2007, our organization was born from a deep commitment to uplift and empower underprivileged adolescent girls, youth, and women in the districts of North Karnataka. Our vision is to enable these communities to lead self-reliant, sustainable, and dignified lives.
