SWT is an indigenous women-led organization in northern Kenya working at the intersection of gender, climate change, and land and natural resource governance. Through the Indigenous Women Council (IWC), SWT advances women’s land and resource rights, strengthens climate adaptation and drought resilience, and promotes environmental and social justice. Our work builds indigenous women’s leadership in sustainable land management, amplifies their voices in national and global policy processes.
