Founded in 2007, Shan Shui Conservation Center is a Chinese NGO dedicated to conserving species and ecosystems and fostering harmonious coexistence between people and nature. We work extensively with local communities across diverse ecosystems. For example, on the Gyatong Grassland in Qinghai, we have supported local communities in conducting grassland restoration trials to mitigate grassland degradation, resulting in the planting and rehabilitation of over 133 hectares of grassland.
