Civil society organizations

Collaborates with the national Institute of Meteorology in tackling the problems of drought. Undertakes projects with the aim of studying aspects or topics relating to desertification and drought, such as the evaluation of land aridity and the determination of drought risks. Identifies and establishes surveys and early warning systems. Promotes the development of activities in communities for reinforcing and transfering experiences and knowledge on drought mitigation and prevention.
