Fungi support much of life on Earth. The Society for the Protection of Underground Networks (SPUN) is a scientific research organization founded to map and advocate for the protection of the mycorrhizal fungal networks that regulate Earth's climate and ecosystems. In collaboration with global researchers and local communities, SPUN is developing tools that leverage fungi to preserve biodiversity and mitigate climate change.
