Civil society organizations

WI links water, biodiversity and climate resilience through landscape-scale wetland conservation and global policy advocacy. As IOP to the Convention on Wetlands, WI supports governments on wetland and water commitments. UNCCD accreditation would strengthen decisions on land degradation, drought, and resilience. With LDNs aligned to water security, WI is well placed to support countries, including through leadership of the Freshwater Challenge, Mangrove and Peatlands Breakthroughs.
