Civil society organizations

WEF Foundation promotes sustainable land, water, energy, and food systems by supporting local organizations and communities. Our activities include land restoration, agroforestry, soil and water management, and livelihood diversification (e.g., cooperatives and pisciculture). We build local capacity, empower women and youth, and link grassroots initiatives to global efforts to combat desertification and land degradation.
