Civil society organizations

Organizes seminars and training courses for workers and trade unions on issues relating to climate change and its implications. Prepares materials and guides on mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Collaborates and takes an active part in the permanent commission of the “Iniciativas ciudadanas” pavilion in the 2008 Expo in Zaragoza, under the theme “Water and sustainability”. Promotes the implementation of United Nations agreements in the field of sustainable development. Contributes to the implementation of international agreements such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Convention on Biological Diversity and the UNCCD. Promotes the establishment of associations and other social networks to promote sustainability.
