Implements pilot activities focusing on climate change and desertification. Carries out scientific research on environmental matters particularly those relating to the negative socio-economic impacts of laws. Publishes, since 2001, an environmental newspaper which regularly includes information on the UNCCD. Organizes tree-planting with the participation of school children and in the framework of the SPARE programme. Carries out a study on the arid landscapes of Georgia.
