The United Confederation of Taíno People (UCTP) is an indigenous representative institution established in 1998 to promote the self-determination and protection of the human rights, culture, traditions, sacred lands and waters of Taíno and other Caribbean Indigenous Peoples. The UCTP serves as a forum for educational advocacy and policy development to affirm and safeguard Taíno and other indigenous Caribbean cultural heritage and spiritual traditions.
