Youth Council for Development Alternatives (YCDA) works to promote sustainable rural development, climate resilience, and social inclusion in vulnerable communities of Odisha, India. Relevant to the UNCCD process, YCDA implements climate-smart agriculture, watershed management, land restoration, water conservation, youth-led green initiatives, and community-based natural resource management to combat desertification and strengthen livelihoods.
