Daniel Roures Rego
Daniel Roures Rego has a background in forest engineering, which he studied at the Technical University of Madrid (Spain).
He also holds a Master of Science in Environment, Culture and Society from the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom) and a Master's degree in Forest and Nature Management from the University of Liege (Belgium).
Since 2019 he works as an international policy officer at the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge in topics related to forests, desertification, drought, land degradation and soils.
Moreover, he is the current UNCCD National Focal Point in Spain.
