Are you motivated, have great ambitions and ideas but cannot find a job that matches your interests? Interested in being a job creator but you don’t know where to start? Then this event is for you.
Everyone (well, maybe not everyone, but a large number of people!) acknowledges that we are living in critical times. Most businesses will have to recreate themselves. Previously employed people have to start over. Historically, young people champion change. They find creative ways to change the world. Just as the challenges of today are unprecedented, so are the opportunities for change – immense.
So come hear from people who, like you, had dreams and fears, but took the leap of faith, started small land-based businesses and are now successful owners of projects that are scaling new heights or breaking new ground. Learn how they deal with the setbacks and have them answer your questions.
Over 25.6 million young people aged 15-19 years will enter the labor market in the next 10 years. It will affect us all. Being proactive can ensure the results are in your favor. Come and connect and learn where and how world leaders are breaking new ground and creating opportunities for young people to start sustainable land-based jobs. Get the advantage of positioning yourself strategically in the exploding green jobs market.
It is possible to make a sustainable living from the land sector, find out how!
This webinar series is jointly organized by UNCCD and Deutsche Welle for young people aged 15 to 35 years, who want to create sustainable jobs in the land sector.
Three webinars are focused on building the necessary capacity to help young people in Africa, Asia and Latin America to venture into land-related entrepreneurial initiatives. The fourth, a global webinar, will bring young people who started their journey under this initiative to meet and share their successes with global policy makers and entrepreneurs, and youth around the world.
