Description

The main tasks of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan are:

  • Ensure realization of state policy in the field of environmental safety, environmental protection, use and reproduction of natural resources;
  • State control over the observance of the ministries, state committees, departments, enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as individual legal entities in the field of use and protection of land, mineral resources, waters, forests, flora and fauna, air;
  • implementation of cross-sectoral integrated environmental management;
  • organization and coordination of activities to ensure a favorable state of the environment and improvement of ecological situation.
