Work experience
Professor Xiao has long been engaging in research of river basin soil and land resource rational use in arid area, was chief Editor of "China's Water Review", awarded first prize for sientific and technological progress in Gansu Province (ranked 8), first prize for scientific and technological progress in Ningxia Autonomous Region (ranked 3) and the special government allowances. _x000D_
Right now is the Chief Scientist of the national nature funds major reseach plan “Integration of Eco-hydrological Processes Research in Heihe River Basin “ and has finished the National Key Technology R&D Program “experimental demonstration and integration study of desertification control and ecological restoration technology in Minqin ". recent 5 years, has in charged of over 8 subjects on scienceand technology such as the National Key Technology R&D Program, 973, Key fund of National Natural Science Foundation, the major projects of CAS, the direction projects of CAS, and major scientifical projects in Gansu Province.
