1. Natural resource investigation and environment monitoring using Remote Sensing techniques in the arid and semi-arid areas._x000D_
2. Remote Sensing techniques applied in geology and in the investigation of mineral resources._x000D_
3. The applications of radar Remote Sensing techniques including the research on radar penetration in sand sheet._x000D_
4. To be a principal investigator of NASA's SIR-C/X-SAR program and Canada's Global SAR program in China._x000D_
5. To be a participant of Canada's Radarsat, Europe Space Agency's ERS-1/2 and Japanese JERS-1 SAR program.
