Work experience
_ My researches have been supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Water Resources, etc. I have a number of research experiences on arid land geomorphology and environment, including the proven of feathered dunes in the Kumtagh Desert, the development process of pyramid dunes, the importance and sand-control significance of Gobi surface, the principle and reproduction of singing sand, and the electrification effect of wind-blown sands. I was in charge of several wind-blown sand research and engineering designing projects, including the protective system for the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High Speed Railway, the Lasa-Shigatse Railway, the Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, the Crescent Spring in the Mingsha Megadunes, and a coastal navy base at southern China. _x000D_
