Work experience
The research field of Professor Wang is ecology and environment protection. Main research field is plant ecology, microbal ecology and biodiversity; the researches focus on the warm-temperature zone vegetation, the mapping of vegetation of China, and the protection of endangered plant species. Currently, he is broadly interested in ecology of wetland, conservation biodiversity, microbal ecology, restoration ecology, ecological protection and demonstration, especially concentrated on Yellow River Delta wetland, island ecology, genetic diversity of endangered plant species and forest restoration. In the recent years, he has presided more than 10 projects and published more than 50 papers and edited 3 books. He has directed more than 20 master students, 20 PhD students and 4 postdoctoral researchers.
