Work experience
I have been working since 1972 on desertification control through floodwater spreading, particularly for the artificial recharge of ground water. Aquifer management, which is the outcome of 25 years of research in Iran has gained acceptance since 1996, and 40 research stations have been established to study its different aspects all over Iran. I have personally designed and constructed above 15 flood water spreading systems in Iran. My previous interests in soil surface application of asphalt in afforestation in arid zones is applicable in the oil producing countries.
