2003-2005 Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs will fund a position of junior expert at CML focusing on UNCCD and synergy with CBD. Junior expert will focus on developing contacts with institutions working in drylands such as the Free University, University of Amsterdam. _x000D_
CML also houses national focal point for indigenous peoples in the CBD and has close ties with IUCN._x000D_
