Work experience
Since 1988, I have carried out research in desertification and reversion in Horqin Sandy Land in Inner-Mongolia, of which from 1988 to 1993 participated in the Sino-Sweden Joint project of desertification prevention of grassland in inner-Mongolia. From 1994-1997 chaired the project of Litter decomposition in relation to climate change and litter property. From 1998-2000, participated in the Sino-Sweden joint project of desertification assessment in northern China and advisory to the Sino-Japan joint project of desertification assessment and early warning system development._x000D_
From 2001 to 2005 participated in the National Key Project (973) of desertification prevention in northern China. From 2004-2009, Chaired the Sino-Korea joint research project of sand and dust storm prevention, taking gender equality in livestock raising activity into consideration. Now Chair the National pivotal project of R & D of natural resources in relation to desertification prevention.
Highest Academic achievement and qualification
Bachelor degree of Desert and Desertification Prevention in Inner-Mongolia Forestry College from1983-1987; Master degree of Agro-ecology in Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences from 1991-1993; Ph.D. of Geography in Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 1999 to 2005.
