1. Participation in a project to classify the site types for reforestation in Loess Area in Shanxi Province, North China. 2. A quantitative research on the relationship between the spatial structure of black locust plantation and its functions, such as rainfall interception, decrease of kinetic energy of rainfall by canopy, water and soil conservation, etc. in the center of the Loess Plateau in Gansu Province, Northwest China. 3. A research on the hydrological functions of Moso-Bamboo (hyllostachys pubescens) plantation in terms of canopy interception, stem flow, infiltration, runoff generation on slopes and from watershed, the chemistry of rainfall and runoff in Jiangxi Province, South China. 4.
