Anahi Ocampo-Melgar
Ph.D. in Arid Lands Resource Sciences (University of Arizona, 2013), MSc. in Integrated Planning for rural development and environmental management (International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies, 2008) and bachelor in Environmental Engineering (Bolivian Catholic University, 2004). Her research is focused on the integration of social and environmental dimensions towards improved restoration practices, land planning and climate change adaptation. Experience collaborating interdisciplinary teams in Mediterranean ecosystems in Spain, US and Chile. Since 2014 researching water security, climate change adaptation and participation in Chile. Assistant professor at the University of Chile, Faculty of Forest Sciences and Environmental Conservation and member of the Collaborative Governance and Management working group of the Programme on Ecosystem Change and Society (PECS).
Research interests: Integrated analysis of social-ecological systems, climate change adaptation, knowledge co-production for environmental management and sustainable development.
