Carries out research on sustainable land use, biomass, renewable energy, energy efficiency, degraded lands and related issues through transdisciplinary research which actively addresses implementation and stakeholders. Carries out the German-sponsored project entitled Globalands. Provides integrated research, analyses and consultancy services in the sustainability domain. Promotes the involvement of decision-makers in the private and public sectors as well as stakeholders.
