Acts as East Africa Regional Coordinator/focal point for the Global Environment Facility (GEF)_x000D_ Non-governmental Organizations Network. Prepares inputs of the network and intervenes on the issue of land degradation and desertification at GEF Council meetings. Promotes organic farming through demonstrations, talks and seminars. Organizes discussions, exhibitions and workshops on sustainable agriculture and crop rotation for small-scale farmers groups. Launches awareness raising campaigns on climate change and campaigns to promote the use of solar_x000D_ energy. Organizes talks, seminars and demonstrations on compost making.
