Manages protected areas in Belize and assists the communities to develop sustainably. Implements an integrated landscape management strategy in partnership with the Belize Forest Department and in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Promotes land management in southern Belize to alleviate land degradation through implementing sustainable agriculture, empowering communities and promoting planned land-use. Raises awareness in the Toledo area on the importance of the environment and sustainable development.
