Work experience
More than ten years of experience in designing and implementing applied, participatory, and transformative research projects on responisble land governance (with a special focus on land rights of vulnerable groups and women), the adoption of sustainable land management and landscape women), the adoption of sustainable land management and landscape restoration activities, and an enabling environment for sustainable use of natural resources. By getting involved in actual transformation processes, it becomes possible to address the wicked questions of „how“ to make sustainable land management and landscape restoration happen. Through working with stakeholders from Governments, Civil Society, businesses and farmers, I learned how to design meaningful science-policy exchanges.
