Technical workshop to validate the national drought plan for Togo

Lomé, Togo – In the framework of the Drought Initiative, Togo has elaborated its National Drought Plan (NDP) with the support of the Global Mechanism of UNCCD. Translating its strong commitment to take proactive approach to drought risk and mitigation, the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources of Togo organized a technical workshop for the NDP validation on 29 November 2018. The workshop participants received an opportunity to analyze and evaluate the NDP, with their feedback integrated into the final document the final document.
