Work experience
10 years of working experience in the field of disaster risk management (DRM), climate change adaptation (CCA), and resilience in research institutions, the UN, and governments. Developed, technically supported and led several projects on mainstreaming DRM/CCA/resilience in the agriculture sector at regional, national, subnational and local level. Advisory in programme and strategic planning on resilience building, with international organizations and governments at international, national, subnational level. Developed and contributed to several technical tools in DRM/CCA/resilience in the agriculture sector, including gender sensitive approaches. Capacity needs assessment and institutional analysis for DRM/CCA. Facilitation of multistakeholder planning processes for DRM/CCA. Comprehensive DRM/CCA (e.g. linking risk analysis, capacity development, awareness raising, good practices etc.); Participatory appraisal tools; Risk data/disaster loss documentation/monitoring; Implementation of the Sendai Framework for DRR in coherence with other agendas
