This Good Practice Guidance supports country Parties in reporting on UNCCD Strategic Objective 5, which focuses on mobilizing substantial financial and non-financial resources for implementing the Convention. It explains the concepts, definitions, methodologies and default data sources used to track international public, domestic public and private resource flows, as well as technology transfer and future support. 

Designed for use with the PRAIS reporting system, the publication helps countries interpret indicators, review pre-filled data and strengthen the consistency and comparability of national reporting. It also outlines limitations, alternative data sources and practical approaches for identifying activities relevant to desertification, land degradation and drought.
