Work experience
He has been researcher and head of unit with ENEA (1987-1999), and then with APAT (1999-2007), which changed its name into ISPRA in 2008. He has been involved in the preparation of the 1988 national energy plan, and of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd national communications to the UNFCCC. He has a specific qualification in emission inventories, and is included in the roster of experts of the UNFCCC; he has taken part in several official reviews of GHG inventories and national communications. He has taken part in several studies concerning the impacts of climate change in Italy. He is currently involved in the establishment of a set of indicators of climate change impacts, vulnerability and adaptation for Italy.
