Work experience
For five years from 2004 to 2008, demonstrative study on vegetation restoration of desertified area to prevent DSS (Dust and sand storm) were conducted in China and Mongolia Some trials of planting trees in arid area of China and Mongolia revealed a possibility of technical improvement on planting season shifting from spring to winter. Grazing pressure was quantitatively evaluated on Mongolian grassland to analyze effects of shrub trees on herbaceous plant community.
