Remained as a chairman of the departments of Land and Water Management and Irrigation and Drainage for 7 years from 1988 to 1996 administrating teaching, research and consultancy activities in the departments; conducting personal research on irrigation, drainage, soil and water, hydrology, socioeconomic and farming system, supervising and guiding graduate, postgraduate research projects; teaching irrigation, drainage, irrigation water management, hydrology, soil-water-plant relationship and ground water physics to undergraduate and graduate classes; organizing and instructing national and international training program.
