Biljana KILIBARDA

Biljana KILIBARDA has a Masters degree in Economics at the University of Montenegro, in Podgorica, and additional studies at the Faculties of Economics in Prague and Ljubljana.

Biljana works at the Department for International Cooperation on international projects in the field of water quality, hydrology and climate change. Sha has been the UNCCD national focal point since 2017 and involved in many Convention activities, such as the reporting processes 2018 and 2022-2023, development of a National Drought Plan, the LDN TSP and LDN TPP process. For the period 2018-2021, she was the Deputy director of Sector for hydrology and water and air quality, in the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology.

Her earlier assignments include working as an adviser in the Ministry of Ecology, Spatial planning and Urbanism, in Directorate for Environment and an assistant for the subject International Economy at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica.
