Cristina RODRIGUEZ

Cristina RODRIGUEZ studied economics and has international postgraduate studies in environmental economics, environment and sustainable development at The Netherlands and York, UK.

More than 18 years of professional experience in climate change, public-private investment and disaster risk management policies including researching, planning and implementation phases.

She has worked at the public sector and international cooperation, also as consultant for JICA, CATIE, and diverse United Nations agencies.

Currently, she is director of Climate Change Adaptation and Desertification in the Ministry of Environment of Peru since 2017.

Also, she is national focal point under the Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN) at the UNFCCC and member of the CRIC Bureau at the UNCCD
