Peace Forest Initiative high-level partners' roundtable

The roundtable will explore how land restoration, environmental cooperation, and participatory governance of natural resources can contribute to resilience, conflict prevention and sustainable peace in the face of interconnected environmental, climate, development, and security challenges. The discussion will provide dedicated platform for advancing dialogue on land-peace-security nexus and exchanging experiences on transboundary cooperation, peace-responsive restoration, and practical approaches to de-risking, and scaling restoration in fragile and conflict-affected settings. Participants will also examine governance-sensitive implementation approaches, regional cooperation mechanisms, and partnership modalities that can help strengthen resilience and sustainable development across shared landscapes and ecosystems
