Small Island Developing States Roundtable

SIDS offer unique opportunities for holistic whole-of-island approaches given the compact nature of their governance systems and the magnified urgency of their development and resilience needs. This Roundtable will explore how to strengthen SIDS’ stewardship of highly threatened, interconnected ecosystems through LDN and SLM strategies and action tailored to SIDS’ realities that build resilience, reduce environmental degradation, and promote economic benefits. It will include the launch of the Global Land Outlook SIDS Thematic Report produced by the UNCCD secretariat.
