The Business for Land Initiative encourages companies to adopt sustainable land management practices and highlights their commitments toward Land Degradation Neutrality.

The Business for Land Forum during the Land Day at COP16 will bring together global business leaders, politicians, policymakers and experts to discuss business efforts to achieve land degradation neutrality.

The forum aims to leverage private sector expertise to combat desertification and land degradation by:

• Showcasing best practices and working with disclosure frameworks for fair reporting
• Encouraging funding shifts from harmful to sustainable land practices, helping businesses seize economic opportunities
• Facilitating peer learning and public-private dialogue to build resilient, efficient businesses and supply chains
